Verdict

The blinkers may enable The Dagger to scythe his way through the field but he's clearly not the most reliable and was behind Winning Show last time. We're going to take a chance with Nassar. George Prodromou's charge is well weighted on the pick of his form but he's clearly had his problems as just two starts since 2007 testifies. He showed enough on both outings to indicate that he has a race of this nature in him though and he has a fair chance if staying sound. The Dagger may well win if the blinkers work but is probably worth taking on, Postmaster may well make the frame again but doesn't appeal as a win only option, Winning Show is short-list material and March Mate one to watch closely in the market but we're going to strike for the stars with Nasser.
