Rattan will be all the rage for this following last season's near misses but he looks worth taking on. We'll take a chance on Liberation Spirit but Stone Of Scone caught our eye on his debut and is feared. The selection has yet to step foot on a racecourse in public but certainly looks the part on paper and presumably did in the sales ring as well as connections had to fork out almost half a million dollars to purchase him. His American pedigree suggests he'll be at home on the track and his yard is going well. Cosmopolitan and La Sarrazine are other newcomers to note whilst Stone Of Scone should know more about the game now and will be expected to step up on his debut showing. Cozy Tiger may fare better once handicapping but Rattan looks sure to be there or thereabouts once again but may ideally prefer further. Therefore, we'll side with the attractively bred Liberation Spirit.
