    Verdict

Disappointingly just the four runners for this Listed race with Imtiyaz the pick on official BHB ratings. The son of Woodman looked to be short of his best in the Strensall Stakes at York at the beginning of the month but the Godolphin-owned horse may have needed the outing in there, after three months off, and if coming on for that outing Frankie Dettori's mount will be tough to beat. He gets the TEAMtalk vote. There is little to choose between the two John Dunlop inmates, Chianti and Flat Spin, with slight preference for the former who has proven form over the trip. Rawyaan has more improvement than any of his rivals but has more to do on the ratings. A market move for the son of Machiavellian would be interesting.
