led, blundered 11th, headed 4 out and driven, stayed challenging under pressure, led on inside again flat, kept on gamely
tracked winner until ridden after 9th, driven not keen and no chance after, tailed off
tracked leading pair, went 2nd after 9th, mistake next, led 4 out, stumbled 2 out, headed flat, no extra
It's impossible to be overconfident about any of this trio and EDE'S only gets the nomination on account of the fact that he has a recent course win under his belt. That was over 2m2f but he was staying on at the finish and the extra quarter-mile shouldn't be a problem. Curragh Dancer is back on a winning mark and hinted at a revival when second over 2m6f here last time but Tavalu's only recent win came in a seller over hurdles and he hasn't raced over fences since 2009.
