Verdict

The second division of the bumper that closes the card can go to Just Classic ahead of Wichway Now, with Janbre and, possibly, Azzemour and Shadow River others to consider. The selection hails from the Martin Pipe-trained yard and, being by a mare that won four times at around a mile, has plenty that catches the eye in a run-of-the-mill bumper. Wichway Now, who ran very well when fourth at Ascot on his sole run to date, is an obvious and big danger. Others to watch out for are the Paul Nicholls-trained Azzemour, the nicely-bred Janbre, who has shown promise on his two starts to date, and the Philip Hobbs-trained Shadow River, who is surely better than he showed on his debut. Overall, though, we just give the nod to Just Classic, unless the market tells a different story.
