Verdict

There's not much to choose between Midnight Chase and PRINCE TAIME in this Beginners' Chase but the form of the Philip Hobbs yard recently sways us to side with the last mentioned while Amore Mio is the only other one to take seriously. Not always that fluent over the bigger obstacles the selection was a useful hurdler and on the pick of his form over timber he may end up too classy for this lot. Midnight Chase is also yet to convince as a chaser but probably sets the standard in regard to form in this medium and his surprise silver medal performance at the festival last year over hurdles is also encouraging. Amore Mio has a bit to prove since losing his way a bit in recent starts. Some of his form has a nice look about it but he'll need to improve now switched to fences. Outside this trio very little makes appeal and if finding his hurdles form Prince Taime should be too good.
