Verdict

Thisthatandtother has been found an easy start to his hunter chasing career and he should be capable of obliging at the principal expense of Back Nine. Connections have been rather forced down this route on circumstance but this former high class performer could comfortably afford to run a few pounds below his official BHA figure and still win this modest contest. Back Nine is no pushover. The Royal Artillery Gold Cup winner handles soft ground although today's trip might just be on the sharp side for him. He looks most favoured if the favourite fluffs his lines. Soleil Fix didnt show a lot under rules although he is still relatively youthful in comparison to others. Kadito is exposed as ordinary. Beareen Lad should be fit from a recent outing at Detling. It is impossible to oppose Thisthatandtother granted a clear round and we will not seek to do so.
