In depth

Verdict

Desert Tommy should be capable of seeing off Prince Dundee and Mohawk Star. The presence of the 127 rated hurdler looks to have scared off all meaningful opposition and if he puts in a clear round, he will be difficult to oppose. Prince Dundee handles the ground perfectly well but he is exposed as moderate and is returning from absence. Mohawk Star was previously contesting listed events so this is a real fall from grace. He would have to have a serious chance if there are any chinks in the armour of Desert Tommy. A Double Ewe Bee rarely gets his head infront and today looks no exception. Hill Forts Henry finished tailed off last time out and is hard to recommend as a consequence. Desert Tommy has plenty of positives in a bad race and cannot be opposed.
