Souriceau, Simba Sun and Harry Tricker are all among those to hold solid formbook claims and we are with the first named. Oliver Sherwood's charge does have to concede a penalty in the opener but the race he won at Folkestone was a particularly hot one and a nice opportunity has been found to follow up. Simba Sun finished well behind Mamlook last time out and he has hardly gone on to frank the form. Alan King's team are in form so any market confidence is noted. Harry Tricker makes a quick return to the track having flopped on Tuesday at Ludlow. He had a degree of ability when with Amanda Perrett and was a far from cheap acquisition at the sales. Pearl was recently claimed out of the Willie Haggas' yard and is in receipt of the fillies allowance today. Shimoni got 1m4f on the flat but was well beaten on previous outings on soft going. Jeanquiri won at Auteuil but has had two difficult tasks thus far. Souriceau sets a fair standard in this race and one that should be difficult to surpass.
