Verdict

Next to no regulation form to go on here as all the form is between the flags with Ballykilthy, Blaze On and Trade Off with the best of it with the vote going to the last named. Trade Off is trained by Robert Alner who also has a string of pointers trained by his wife Sally. This horse has been difficult to beat on the southern circuit. He also has form under rules to back up his chances and could prove difficult to beat. Ballykilthy is trained in Newmarket by Alex Embiricos and has been performing well in points in the East Anglia area. He needs to show his very beat here and may find one or two too good today. Blaze On came unstuck in an open point last time out. Prior to that he looked invincible with a string of wins. His last run looked a little lack luster and he may be in need of a break. So for the winner we return to Trade Off.
