In depth

Verdict

Peruvian Prince can land the finale at the expense of Benbrook, The Gaikwar and Billy One Punch to name but three. Peruvian Prince has been lightly raced this term and appears to be on the upgrade judged on a solid second to Altilhar at Brighton three weeks ago. He was trying to give the winner 3lb that day so deserves some credit, and should now be spot on as he bids to lose his maiden tag. Benbrook is likely to be a big danger as he gets weight off all despite having already won twice over this trip in class 5 company two months ago. He tried to make all at Sandown last time but tired up the hill and as this track is not as testing, he will have his supporters. The Gaikwar finished a close fourth at the Esher track last time, staying on, but has yet to impress over today's trip, unlike Billy One Punch who has won over the course-and-distance in the past. Successful at York the time before last, he had too much use made of him at Windsor over a shorter trip and will be more at home here. There are plenty in with chances, and only a tentative vote goes to Peruvian Prince.
