Black Moma has paid to follow already this term, and can do so again against the likes of Pretty Miss, Cosmopolitan Lady and Nina Blini. Black Moma has obvious claims here on the strength of two decent efforts at Leicester and Sandown. She showed excellent speed at the Esher track last time, tracking over to the far rail and making all under today's pilot Richard Smith, and it is hard not to see her dominating this field. Pretty Miss is going the right way but was perhaps a shade too keen at Beverley when sent off favourite, and will need restraining a bit more if she is to make an impression on this, her nursery debut. Cosmopolitan Lady is difficult to weigh up as she ran a blinder to finish third in a conditions event at Salisbury earlier this term, but failed to get her head in front when put back into maiden company here just over three weeks ago. She is bound to open her account at some stage but remains frustrating to follow. Nina Blini brings a touch of class to the contest, having already run in the Queen Mary and Cherry Hinton this year. However, she was soundly beaten in a Newmarket nursery last month, and the fact that she has to concede over a stone to Black Moma here only re-enforces our confidence in Richard Hannon's filly.
