Verdict

DIRECT FLO can be no more than a hopeful choice in a race where a market check is essential. She showed a degree of promise in a junior bumper at Exeter on debut and may be able to build on that on her hurdling bow. Jewellery and Killusty Fancy were modest performers on the level but it would be no surprise to see them involved whilst Free As A Lark was of a similar level of ability but has been struggling to last home in two runs over obstacles so far. First Fandango showed a little more on the Flat and is a half-brother to a winner over hurdles so appeals more than Katchmore who fell on his one run over hurdles in France and has struggled on the level since.
