Verdict

Nicky Henderson has trained the winner of this race four times in the past 10 seasons and can add another with BOBS WORTH. The gelding has already been around here twice in bumpers, stringing out his field in the second one. He is unlikely to be found wanting for schooling or fitness on this hurdling debut and is given the vote. Violin Davis represents the champion trainer and was the easy winner of a poor mares' bumper at Fontwell last month. Even so, she is race-fit and receives her allowance so has to be feared. George Nympton is decent but vulnerable especially on this ground, while Calusa Catrina and Pere Blanc are others outside the likely leading duo in the market who can probably go well.
