In depth

Verdict

Allez Frank can lower the colours of Rory De Cimbre and Grecian Storm. Although disappointing at Stratford in March, the seven-year-old has demonstated his best form on a quicker surface and with not much in the way of opposition present, the German raider can pay for the diesel money. Rory De Cimbre was sent off as a surprise favourite at Taunton on his chasing debut. He did not particularly impress on the day and his fall seemed on the cards from some way out. His hurdling form entitles him to be a factor. Grecian Groom is given a watching brief on chasing introduction. Urban Tiger is over the right trip this afternoon. He didn't cut much ice with the betting public on that day and appears unlikely to on this occasion. He's My Man seldom finishes these days. Constable Burton shaped with promise on the flat but looks to have lost his way. Allez Frank is our preferred option.
