Verdict

A chance is taken with Anzal in this fairly open contest, with La Marette, Scottish Law and Zilarator expected to give the selection the most to do. Anzal, a course and distance winner, has a decent turn of foot when conditions are in his favour and he has improved vastly since undergoing a wind operation at the start of last year. Scottish Law is also open to improvement over timber, but is no world-beater, so Zilarator, who is also a speedy individual when he consents to put it all in, is taken to be the one to capitalize in the event of any accidents. La Marette should be seen in a better light back at this trip and is another to consider if an each way bet to nothing can be squeezed out of the betting ring.
