In depth

Verdict

FINE SIGHT, Universal Circus and Whieppa Snappa may be the principals in a race where there is little form to go on and guesswork plays a prominent role, with Fine Sight given a tentative vote. Whieppa Snappa showed ability in a better race than this over this course and distance last time, and that was a step up on his debut run. Similar improvement can see him reach a place here. Having been outpaced on fast ground, Universal Circus showed her best form on good ground last time. The forecast rain will help her chances and she is a consistent type who looks sure to go well. Fine Sight was highly tried at York on debut but ran a sound race before improving significantly next time, only to be run out of it close home. The Richard Hannon camp landed a Group success at this age group on Tuesday and Fine Sight can continue Hannon's success.
