There is little to recommend any of the four newcomers with Michael Wigham's Art Value, who lost his way on the level but may do better now over hurdles looking the pick of them, and it is hard to get away from HIGH GALES who is the confident choice with Gemini Ahhs looking the clear pick of the remainder. The selection has shown a decent level of form in bumpers and translated that ability to timber on his hurdling debut when chasing home Secret Dancer at Uttoxeter recently. A reproduction of a similar level of form may well suffice in this company for James Lambe's gelding. Hurstpierpoint is rated 4lbs superior to Mouseen on official BHA ratings but both need to improve to trouble the selection and of more interest may be Alfie Noakes, who represents the in-form yard of Rebecca Curtis. Gemini Ahhs has shown a decent level of form in bumpers and ran promisingly on his debut over hurdles at Worcester over three miles for Nigel Twiston-Davies but High Gales has the better form and he is preferred.
