Verdict

Willie Mullins doesn't have many two-year-olds so the newcomer Pell Mell, who is out of a Grade 3 winning juvenile in Canada, is one to note. MESSIDOR just failed to make a winning start on good going at Leopardstown then appeared to find soft ground against her when odds-on at Down Royal. She should make amends though Golden Lyric also made a bright start at Cork before running poorly on much easier ground at Naas. The Coolmore-owned Ever A Dream was unfancied here a couple of weeks ago but ran better than expected and normal progress can see her in the firing-line.
