Sweet Affection had three runs here last winter and scored at Leopardstown in August before returning here with fine run a fortnight ago when just failing to concede 11lb to Fryens. That was over the extended 1m2f as was MACABAN CITY's close fourth at the same fixture. The latter was staying on strongly and, with this trip likely to suit, can finally get off the mark. Punters Poet was just behind Sweet Affection two weeks ago then started favourite when runner-up over 2m last week so is an obvious threat but Flindt has been racing over further including over timber. Royal Red Persian was out with the washing around the home turn last time but finished with a real flourish and can get involved.
