Plenty of multiple course winners here including Nimitz, who is very consistent and has three victories to his credit. ART OF AMERICA came here for the first time in November and led right on the line before defying a 3lb rise a couple of weeks later. He's up another 4lb though still looks fairly treated but Magi Gal needs to overcome a 10lb rise to follow up her victory two weeks ago. Jon Ess and Lusis Naturea have been jumping without much success but Maunganui was in good form on Turf last summer. Pak Army shot up the ratings after scoring twice here in the autumn and has been unable to cope and Sicario has been out of form over timber.
