In depth

Verdict

The four-year-old Tabou Beach Boy was a comfortable winner here on his second start in a handicap but has been raised 8lb and the second has been beaten again since. Animore arrives off the back of a win at Kelso and Highway Companion looked to be back on track over course and distance on New Year’s Day but found it impossible to get past NOT THE CHABLIS, who seems to have found his ideal distance and is still at the right end of the handicap. Pammi has become hard to place and was behind Cousin Oscar here last month but Curramore found 2m at Doncaster last time an insufficient test of stamina.
