Verdict

Joseph O'Brien has a strong hand here with the experienced pair Darkolva and Medal Of Honour joined by newcomer Subjudice, brother of a Listed winner and half-brother to six winners. The former has only been finding one pace, including when sent to Newcastle last time, but Medal Of Honour has mainly raced in better company and should probably have won by now. Clebourne made a promising start last week though that was over the minimum trip while Twenty Minutes stayed on over a mile on his debut and may find this on the short side. PORT LIONS just failed to make all when beaten a head over this trip at Roscommon before leading for most of the way over a mile at the Curragh. He makes his debut on the surface here but can make all under Pat Smullen, who takes the ride rather than Dermot Weld's newcomer Glow In The Dark.
