Midnight Walk had a subsequent winner behind when second to Fair Frank at Southwell in October but she’s struggled on going this soft in the past. LOCHNELL beat stablemate Spring Over by 12 lengths on identical terms over hurdles at Ayr in March. The ground was heavy that day so she’ll have no problems with the surface and she’s jumped well enough in her three starts over fences to date. Course and distance winner Sultana Belle has only run once over fences in 18 months and was well beaten while Nelly La Rue is 16lb out of the handicap.
