      Verdict

      This is very low-grade handicap in which nothing leaps off the page. Giant Steps wasn’t beaten far at Chelmsford two weeks ago but whether the blinkers will work a second time is anybody’s guess. GHERKIN, who has travelled up from Devon, only gave best inside the final furlong at Windsor and gets a tentative vote ahead of Chepstow fourth Some Nightmare and Krafla, who reverts to 6f.
