Amelia's Surprise scored twice on Polytrack in April and didn't reappear until last month where she ran a cracking race behind Maverik at Wolverhampton. She's on the same mark here and must be on the short-list. Icy Blue wouldn't mind a bit of cut in the ground but should still run another big race on good going though he's 4lb higher for finishing runner-up at Haydock last week. Fairlie Dinkum disappointed at Carlisle when last seen in June but is probably better than that while the progressive Ted's Bullet may just be a few pounds high after his two victories in August, the first of them over this C&D. Fluvial's last run at Dundalk should be ignored as he was badly impeded but Links Drive Lady is still a maiden despite her consistency. FIRST CLASS FAVOUR was in superb form at this time a year ago and her handicap mark shot up to 87. She hasn't shown much recently and has dropped 22lb in the ratings so gets the vote to spring a surprise under the very competent Racheal Kneller.
