Verdict

Tim Easterby's yard has been in outstanding form all season and he runs a quintet here. David Allen has chosen COCKTAIL CHARLIE and he gets a tentative vote as though he was behind stablemate Favourite Girl and today's rival Singeur at Catterick last time he gave notice that he was returning to form. He was beaten a short-head by Excel Bolt at Musselburgh last June and meets that rival on no less than 25lb better terms. Racy has been running very well without managing to get his head in front which is why the assessor can't loosen his grip while Marine Commando had several of these behind when scoring at Haydock and looks certain to go well with just a 4lb rise. Dreamacha landed handicaps at Lingfield and Leicester before an excellent run in a Listed event in Germany and looks a big threat.
