In depth

Verdict

MEOW looks an obvious choice here and it will be a disappointment if she is beaten. David Wachman's Storm Cat filly landed her maiden at Tipperary by no less than seven lengths before beaten a neck by Maqaasid in the Queen Mary Stakes when Moonlit Garden was well behind. That represents the best form on view and she should gain her first pattern race success. Lightening Thief has twice failed to sparkle when tackling this grade while Foolproof and Snow Mountain were way out of their depth behind Zoffany in the Phoenix Stakes and Mr Man In The Moon found Listed class too much for him at Tipperary. Ladie's Choice was a 50/1 chance when landing a maiden at Naas and will need to make major progress to get involved here.
