Verdict

Willie Mullins and Ryan Moore look a potent force and the last time Pique Sous saw a racecourse was when landing the Queen Alexandra Stakes in 2014. No doubt Royal Ascot will be on the agenda again so he'll be fit enough for this. ALVEENA was always travelling smoothly and only had to be pushed out to land a Leopardstown handicap last month. She's up 7lb for this but looks very progressive and can complete a double. Xebec looked a certain future winner when caught right on the line by Intisari at Leopardstown with today's rival Shadagann staying on strongly into third. The latter's yard is in top form at present so a form reversal looks on the cards. Ringside Humour finished runner-up on his only start at this trip while Curley Bill is one to keep an eye on as the useful hurdler was having his first start since 2013 on testing ground at Tipperary last month and should have come on for the run.
