Verdict

UK raiders have won seven of the last ten. Richard Fahey scored with Utmost Respect in 2009 and will be expecting another big effort from DON'T TOUCH. The unbeaten Ayr Gold Cup winner certainly deserves the step-up to Group level and looked as though he'd improved again when reappearing with a clear-cut victory at Haydock. The veteran Maarek finished runner-up in this a year ago but hasn't been in the same kind of form and has finished behind both Mobsta and Fort Del Oro this season. The former ran moderately when stepped up to Group 3 level at Newmarket but the latter is progressing nicely and looks a big threat after completing a Listed race double at Naas last month. Dick Whittington, a Group 1 winning juvenile, hasn't shown much in two starts this campaign though it's too early to write him. Gordon Lord Byron may find a few of these too quick on this ground these days.
