Verdict

Zeftan has won four times around here including this in 2016. Helen Mooney was on board that day though rides Galeloa here but Sheila Lavery's in-form filly has been raised 11lb for her latest victory at Tipperary. Perfect Tapatino is also a course and distance winner having won a strong handicap last month and his latest effort is best ignored as he was impeded at a crucial stage. Jody Townend picks up the plum ride on ROYAL ILLUSION, who has completed a double under amateur riders and is still progressing. He's making his handicap debut but has scored under big weights in bumpers and can complete a hat-trick. Bay Hill made a successful debut over fences last month but had been in fine form over hurdles previously and looks well handicapped back on the level, particularly with the excellent Aine O'Connor's claim to aid his cause. Ingenuity has never won but is fit from hurdling and on a lowly mark for his return to the Flat.
