Verdict

MONBEG WORLDWIDE won a point at Lismore in March then made a very impressive bumper debut on heavy ground at Roscommon when today's rival Broder was 12 lengths behind. He'll be a smart hurdler one day if living up to his pedigree as his dam is from the family of Morley Street and Granville Again. Bensachuine showed the occasional promise in bumpers before finishing runner-up over hurdles here a fortnight ago but Antimatter couldn't cope in a much better race at Down Royal after his victory at Ballinrobe.
