Verdict

Big Nasty kept on for pressure when third at Haydock and makes more appeal than penalised Bangor scorer Move Above but this is usually a competitive bumper and it features some above-average recruits. Financier is a Flat-bred son of Dubawi who is a half-brother to five winners and he made a winning start between the flags at Witton Casle in May. ASK FOR GLORY was bought for £280,000 after an easy win in an Irish point-to-point and he can make a winning debut under Rules for Paul Nicholls, though newcomers Imperial Esprit and especially the jumps-bred Born To Sting are definitely worth a market check.
