Verdict

Blackjack Kentucky and the four-year-old Maypole Class are interesting recruits from the point-to-point circuit now attached to top NH yards but they will need to be useful to get the better of a host of contenders who have already shown useful form over hurdles, as will Jasmin Des Bordes and course winner Dramatic Pause who graduate from bumpers. Hill Sixteen has placed in both starts over timber at northern tracks and Jammy George was second over 2m here last month before taking on better opposition at Sandown. Nativegetaway was beaten only a neck over track and trip last time but KINGSPLACE was an eye-catcher in a decent race at Warwick two weeks ago and is sure to know more today.
