      Verdict

Stringsofmyheart is taken to overcome his six pound penalty and land this at the expense of Venir Rouge and Uig. The selection has won two all weather handicaps and a handicap at this track over two furlongs further. He seems a versatile type who wins over different middle distances. He does run off a career high mark here but if producing his best he can take all the beating once again. Venir Rouge doesn¿t win that often but has shown a decent level of form of late, He caught the eye when third to Ross Moor at Sandown last time out and is one to note in the betting market. As is Uig who was declared a non runner earlier in the week and has been in winning form recently at Lingfield and was not discredited when second to Naughty Thoughts at Salisbury last time out so is one for the short list. But for the winner we return to Stringsofmyheart.
