      Verdict

L'Oudon is preferred to Redemption, Flying Spirit and the consistent Indian Star. The selection hasn't always proved to be the most reliable but he did win very easily in this grade at Plumpton last time on what was just his third start for this yard. Conditions suit and he has every chance at the weights if running up to his best form. Indian Star is a remarkably consistent sort in the right grade and he looks sure to give a good account of himself again although he may find at least one too good at the weights in this contest. Redemption has appreciated the drop to this grade now that he has reached the veteran stage of his career and this drop in trip should see him fare better than he did at Uttoxeter but he remains vulnerable. Flying Spirit takes a steep drop in class and hails from a yard that merits respect at this level but he hasn't shown a great deal of late so we'll pass him over in favour of L'Oudon.
