In depth

Verdict

Ethereal Flame has the form to win this at the expense of Inquisitive Look and Romantic Retreat. The selection ran in a couple of above average maiden races last season and ran well in defeat on her seasonal reappearance in a fillies maiden at Warwick last month finishing third of eleven. In the context of this race she will not have to improve much to score here and as long as she can show the same level of form she will prove difficult to beat. Inquisitive Look caught the eye on her debut at Leicester when finishing second to Meethaag. She certainly has the ability to win races and is therefore one to note in the market. As is Romantic Retreat who can improve from her debut at Goodwood and coming from such a powerful yard is given respect also. But for the winner we return to Ethereal Flame.
