Advertisement has an obvious chance to open his account and really should be able to win this but he'll be priced accordingly and it may just be worth opposing him with one of KALK BAY, Filibuster or Spanish Island if the prices are right. Advertisement has a worrying set of 'twos' next to his name but he has bumped into some useful performers in that run and it will be very disappointing if he can't get off the mark today. That said, one or two of his opponents would be of interest if the market were to emit positive vibes and Spanish Island certainly falls into that category as the 105,000 guineas two year old purchase did attract some support at Thirsk and the run was not devoid of promise. Filibuster has a little more to prove so we'll take a chance with the well bred Kalk Bay who is a half-brother to the smart King's Apostle. He was beaten 11 lengths on debut but the run was by no means a bad one and he may be able to improve sufficiently to trouble the favourite.
