In depth

Verdict

David Evans has landed two of the last three runnings of this race and he's represented by Just For Leo and Fred Willetts but the yard could be in better form whereas MISS DUTEE's stable continues to carry all before them. She appreciated the move into handicap company to win with something up her sleeve at Lingfield - where Salvationist was just under 5 lengths back in fourth - and it would be no surprise to see her make light of a 6lb higher mark in a race that may not be any stronger. Just For Leo ran as well as can have been expected against a smart sort last time whilst the form of his Nottingham third has been well advertised and he's respected on his return from a break whilst Fred Willetts faces a more realistic assignment having been sent off at 20-1 or bigger for all five starts. Rosina Grey has less on her plate than at Sandown and Barista ran well enough at Goodwood in the week to merit close consideration on this quick return to action but ready preference is for Miss Dutee.
