Verdict

This has attracted a big field and it looks wide-open. L'Unique was third in the Mares' Hurdle at The Festival and had Hidden Identity, Top Totti, Cailin Annamh and Down Ace behind. The latter has since run in a Listed handicap at Newbury where she finished behind Lily Waugh and Fairytale Theatre but ahead of Luci Di Mezzanotte and Mrs Peachey. Polly Peachum won easily at Warwick last time but has shot up the weights as a result and Loyaute likewise after winning over 2m at Ludlow. KOOLALA was raised 10lb after winning at Wincanton but the longer trip clearly suited and she looks capable of confirming earlier Doncaster form with Beyeh and Brijomi Queen, despite worse terms. Paul Webber's improving mare gets the nod though it would be no surprise to see Alder Mairi run well and she makes more appeal than One Lucky Lady, Blue Buttons and the hat-trick seeking Lovey Dovey.
