AREEN HEART has only raced here once before but that was over a mile. This is his trip and he’s been holding his own in better company since scoring at Lingfield in September off a 3lb lower mark. Well drawn, he can defy top weight this evening. Luzum is an interesting raider from Mick Easterby’s yard. He may well be suited by the switch to Polytrack having raced twice over shorter trips on Tapeta for new connections. Smokey Lane has switched stables but a case can be made for three-year-olds Rum Runner and Papa Stour on these terms and course and distance winners Boy In The Bar and Gentlemen also warrant a mention.
