In depth

Verdict

There was cut in the ground when Buriram won at Windsor last month but Clearance drops back down in trip bidding for a hat-trick having completed a double over 2m, though is not out of this. Firewater found only one too good over track and trip last time and can race off the same mark but MR CARPENTER makes most appeal. The latter returned a shock winner in a higher grade contest at York on his debut for Tim Easterby and first outing over 1m4f and there looks more to come from him in soft going.
