In depth

Verdict

A runner-up at Ascot on his debut, Ajrad should be in the mix once again and Jim Crowley prefers his chances to those of the newcomer and US-bred $575,000 purchase Almaan. But RIDGEWAY AVENUE also showed ability in a decent novices race at York on the full-brother to Group 1 winner Hawkbill may prove the one to side with. Mihrab and Realist have more to find while Side Shot is a half-brother to Group 3 winner Shutter Speed and Hickory is related to stablemate and Listed winner Archer’s Dream.
