      Verdict

Venue, a half-brother to nine winners, ran three times for the Cecil yard in 2013 and won them all including a strong handicap at Haydock. He didn't reappear last year and went for £15,000 at the Doncaster Sales so may be best watched for now. Triumvirate is another newcomer with a long absence to overcome as she ran just twice in the summer of 2013, scoring at Saint-Cloud on her debut. Lucky Jim, runner-up in a Wetherby maiden last month when Grand Meister was well behind, makes a quick reappearance after a poor run at Southwell on Sunday while Sir Safir jumped moderately at Musselburgh on his handicap debut. Richard Fahey doesn't have too many over jumps but WOODBRIDGE could be one to give the yard some fun. His only victory on the level came at Goodwood but he ran well on several occasions and is a half-brother to the very smart jumper Overturn.
