Verdict

Light Of Asia looked progressive when scoring at Haydock but couldn't handle softer ground on his next start at Leicester. EBONY EXPRESS completed a hat-trick at this time last year and returned to winning ways at Carlisle last month. He loves the ground and stays further so can complete a double. Sioux Chieftain scored here on soft ground last time and, though this is a slightly higher grade and he's up in the ratings, another big run is expected. O Ma Lad was behind the selection at Carlisle but a return to this shorter trip should suit while the consistent Lexington Bay has dropped to a fair mark and can get involved.
