    Verdict

Reve De Nuit won at Southwell on New Year's Day and Wolverhampton in April. He hasn't been seen subsequently but goes well fresh so looks sure to give a good account. Hawdyerwheesht arrives in good form having scored over hurdles last month, his second victory of the summer. He's from a yard who have a good record in this type of race and should make a bold bid. ENGLISH SUMMER has won twice at Chester so tight tracks obviously suit. He's been competing in much better company, including a Class 2 handicap, so this drop in grade can bring about another success. War Poet won a claimer here in May and has generally competed at a higher level so he can provide a threat on ground that will suit.
