The 12-year-old surged clear of Nortonthorpelegend and Pretty Miss Mahler over course and distance last time and is still well treated on past form with Rachael McDonald’s claim a further plus. Forever My Friend is also in the veteran stage now but hasn’t looked the same horse since returning from a spell hunting. Day Of Roses was back to his best at Bangor earlier in the week but this may come around soon enough.
