    Verdict

WISSAHICKON has been rested after his exploits on the all-weather earlier in the year. The Winter Derby winner failed to run his race at the All-Weather Championships back in April but he goes well fresh and there should be even more to come from John Gosden’s colt this season. Jersey Stakes winner Space Traveller finished in front of Zaaki in the Lennox Stakes over 7f at Goodwood last time but both have something to prove over this longer trip with the latter well beaten in last year’s renewal. Bangkok and Forest Ranger failed to figure in the Sky Bet York Stakes here last month, though it was soft ground on that occasion and the former could bounce back today, while Escobar is another stepping up in distance having come up short in Pattern races in the past.
