In depth

Verdict

STARFIGHTER remains a maiden after eight starts but there is nothing wrong with his attitude and the Walker gelding has come up against useful sorts when runner-up the last twice. He is well suited by trip and ground and is taken to go one better. Fantastic Blue has also yet to shed maiden status but has only had the five starts and his recent Newbury second suggests he's more than capable of landing a handicap at this level. Sadlers Beach is respected but seems to produce his best at Bath while course and distance winner Mukha Magic looks best of the remaining trio.
