A wide open contest here and the principals look to be Obe One, Haulage Man and Paddywack and the vote is given to Obe One. The selection had no luck in running when ninth behind Namir last time out. He remains on a fair mark and under conditions that suit and from a good draw he gets the confident vote. Haulage Man rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed behind Outrageous Flirt last time out for no apparent reason so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Paddywack looks on a fair mark but he is hard to win with and the suspicion is he may just need the run after a 170 day absence. Bint Royal has dropped to a handy mark and has everything in his favour but his yard are woefully out of form. Chairman Bobby was in front of the selection last time and he is another with place claims but he has been done no favours by the draw. Petite Mac is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks vulnerable under top weight and with this in mind for the winner we return to Obe One.
